Wonder Woman was born and raised in the Capital Region. She has always had a love for music and always had a hidden dream to be a radio d.j. growing up. Known for her outgoing personality, love for life, and positive, upbeat attitude, it was no surprise to anyone that she would pursue a Bachelor's degree in Communications. While she was attending the College of Saint Rose, a brand new hip hop radio station was born in the Capital Region and she knew she had to get on, experienced or not. She heard a commercial for a night d.j. while driving one night, pulled over, wrote down the phone number and info with her lipstick on a gum wrapper and made the first step towards achieving her childhood dream. That next day she went to Radio Shack and purchased a cassette recorder, recorded herself talking over a Notorius BIG beat, and the rest was history. 1999 was a life changing year for her as she slowly began learning the ropes of radio. Starting as an early Gospel morning show board op, her radio career began. In due time she went from Sundays, to over nights, to the Midday queen and eventually morning show co-host. She also gained many titles as Promotions Director, Internship Coordinator, & Assistant Program Director. She took a quick break in 2005, not realizing how much she would miss her love and passion for radio. She graced the airwaves again returning to the radio in 2011 and was beyond blessed to join the Hot 99.1fm family. She is known for loving Old School hip hop & rnb. And you can always find her reminiscing and sharing stories through music. Stay tuned to hear more from Your Favorite Super Hero!! You can check her out every Sunday 2-6pm on Hot!
