National Women’s History Month: Shout Out to Oprah Winfrey!

Many of you may not know that March is National Women's History Month so I am here to spread the good word. We must shout out and show love to the women of the world who have made groundbreaking changes, marking the map and making history. Today, I salute one of my idols growing up, Oprah Winfrey.

I grew up watching The Oprah Winfrey Show, daydreaming and picturing myself having my own talk show one day. Little did I know I would get somewhat close to that dream as I entered the radio industry back in 1999. Maybe one day, I'll have my own TV talk show, hey you never know!

But, most importantly, right now it is all about Ms. Winfrey!! Whether you like her or not, Oprah is a household name and we most certainly have to give her a BIG UP! The Oprah Winfrey Show was the highest-ranking program of its kind in history. The show was nationally syndicated from 1986 to 2011. Shout out to you OPRAHHHHH!! (In her Oprah excited voice!)
