POLLYstars : BBQ & Dance Party

Polly is a 21 and up quarterly dance party in Troy dedicated to providing a fun and safe space for LGBTQ and people of color. Each Polly event has a theme and a featured charity, which means a great time for a great cause. It all happens on July 29th at 71 Mill St, in Troy.

Come party with us under the stars at Polly's first outdoor party!

• 6pm starts with a potluck BBQ
• 7pm screening of Youth FX films and Q&A
• 8:30pm stretch class!
• 9pm DJs start spinning house music all night

The DJ line up features DJs Ephraim Asili, Goldee Dust, DJ Mercy, Intell Hayesfield and DJ Jennifer Haley.

Pre-dance floor stretch class (optional of course) @ 8:30pm and there is a $5-20 suggested donation.

This POLLY  is dedicated to raising money for YOUTH FX! Come out and support this awesome local program that gives intensive hands-on training that is designed to empower youth aged 14-19 by teaching them the technical and creative aspects of digital film making.

Their Our mission is to work with diverse groups of young people from communities that have been historically under-served and in need of opportunities for training and engagement in emerging media technologies.
