Miss USA Crowned After Answering Transgender Question

A 20 year old classical musician from Rhode Island is this year’s Miss USA. Olivia Culpo will be representing our country at this year’s Miss Universe pageant in December.

Culpo was faced with a hard-hitting twitter question in the interview round – “Would you feel it would be fair that a transgender woman wins the Miss USA title over a natural born woman?”

She answered with confidence, “I do think that would be fair, but I can understand that people would be a little apprehensive to take that road because there is a tradition of natural-born women, but today where there are so many surgeries and so many people out there who have a need to change for a happier life, I do accept that because I believe it’s a free country”.

Her answer seemed to seal the deal. The judge’s panel featured Chef Cat Cora, Arsenio Hall (woop woop woop!), Joe Jonas and Rob Kardashian.
