Kanye West Takes Church To Jail

Super producer and rapper Kanye West been called everything from a "mad man" to "a music genius." One thing that can not be denied is his talent on music. Taking a break from Hip Hop, West been exploring the Gospel side of music. Performing large Gospel services city to city and even dropping a Gospel album "Jesus is King." 

On Friday the icon rapper visited two Harris County jails in Houston,TX. This was a surprise performance, not for the public, West told the audience his visit was "a mission, not a show" reported from, CNN. Him and his choir performed for more than 200 male inmates at one jail facility. Then performing for a smaller crowd of female inmates in another jail just across the street.

Say what you want about the man. But @kanyewest and his choir brought some light to people who needed it today at the Harris County Jail.
