Dr.Martin Luther King Jr Day

This Monday, Jan.16, there will an observance held at the Empire State Plaza Convention Center for the great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

There will be musical performances, along with a talk from keynote speaker, Geoffery Canada. There will be many activities going on in the concourse as well: a Martin Luther King memorial exhibit, Empire State's Dr. King quilt display, along with a birthday celebration and a community march.

This is a public event; doors open at 8:30 a.m. and the program starts at 9 a.m. For more information, reach out here.
