According to the South Glens Falls Police Department, an unidentified man was reportedly robbed at gunpoint inside the motel. Officers identified 24-year old Isaiah Macuilt, of South Glens Falls, as the suspect.
The Watervliet Police were called for a domestic violence incident in the 600 block of 3rd Avenue on Tuesday morning. When police arrived at the location, the suspect had fled the scene, and the victim alleges that he was physically violent with her.
The suspect involved in the incident, 43-year-old Vayne A. Rice of Schenectady, was attempting to leave the scene as officers were approaching. Police accused Rice of “recklessly engaging in conduct that created a grave risk of death to another person
Once again officers in the Capital Region were able to confiscate drugs during a traffic stop. This time they also removed a ghost gun (a gun where the serial number is intentionally removed) off of the streets.
On Monday, January 10, an unnamed man responded to the website SkipTheGames in an attempt to obtain “escort” services. The man met 20-year old Ava Maddalla of Scotia at the Hampton Inn & Suites, located at 45 British American Boulevard.
Traffic Stop Leads To Drugs Charges For Two Schenectady Men. The driver, 25-year old Darnell Rollins, and his 18-year old passenger, Xzobiaire Green, were both arrested during a traffic stop.
According to District Attorney P. David Soares, Mr. Smith was sentenced to nine years in State Prison and will be under five years of supervised parole after he is released.
