Poor Miguel. He’s one of the most humble, respectful and talented dudes in the game and now more people know him for his rasslin’ skills than his music. Of course I’m referring to the incident at the Billboard Music Awards last weekend when he leg dropped two female fans. It’s a blessing and a curse. It was one of the most embarrassing things I’ve ever seen happen to an artist, yet now he’s a household name. The question is, what happened? Miguel responded.
Pro golfer, Sergio Garcia, has been playing pretty solid lately. His game has been up and down over the years, but he was looking like an early favorite in The Players Championship a few weeks ago. On one of the days (golf tournaments are 4 days), he was paired up with his arch rival, Tiger Woods. The two were open and honest about not liking each other.
Nobody is safe when it comes to Eminem’s lyrics. He’s fired off shots at everyone from Carson Daily to Lady Gaga. Even one of the most beloved movie stars of our generation, Will Smith, was dissed by Slim. Before Shady spit the infamous bars, “Will Smith doesn’t have to cuss to sell records – Well I Do – So f--- him and f--- you too,” Big Willie said something that resonated with the Detroit rapper in the late 90’s.
Anthony Weiner, ya know, the guy who sent pics of his swollen junk to women on twitter? Yeah, he announced on YouTube yesterday that he’ll be running for Mayor of New York City. Maybe he’ll move the Mayor’s Office to the red light district.
I don’t handle summer weather too well. Heck, I even break a sweat when attempting to tie my shoes. I’m comfortable wearing shorts in 60 degree weather. So on a day like today, humid with a high of 85, my brain is thinking more about keeping cool than work. What better way to cool off on a sweltering summer day than taking a dip in the pool?
Will Smith has been sitting down with media outlets promoting his new movie, “After Earth.” The conversation switched gears to his musical talents when he spoke to HipHollywood.

As a lifelong Knicks fan, the Miami Heat have caused me a lot of pain over the years. I gotta give it up to my man, Dwayne Wade, though. Dude is a 2 time NBA Champion, a former NBA Finals MVP, Olympic gold medalist, league scoring champion and rookie of the year. Oh yeah, he has fine taste in women, too (he’s dating Gabrielle Union). One major question mark is his sense of style, though. Maybe I’m off the mark, but the look he debuted last night was frightening.

I received a post card from my high school asking me to call a 1-800 number within 7 days to verify my alumni information. It looked legit. It had my name, the year I graduated - it even had the Saratoga High School logo on it. There was something that didn’t seem right, though. I started questioning the legitimacy of the document when I noticed the “Publication Office” mailing address was in Virginia. A quick google search of the listed P.O. Box confirmed that I was almost a scam victim. Thanks, internet!
