Nicki Minaj’s new clothing line will help young ladies ball on a budget. Nicki appeared at a launch event on October 15th and said her line was inspired by high fashion, Chanel and Versace in particular. The affordable items range from accessories at $3.99 and $37.99 for jackets.

The Pink Friday rapper lives up to her album title offering everything from a pink velour track suit to jewelry to hats. Although Nicki hasn’t had any formal education in fashion, she takes a very “real” approach to her designs, saying she just wanted to make clothes that she would love to wear herself.

Items from the line can be purchased in Kmart stores or online at shopyourway.com. The clothing deal is just one of many endorsements that helped Nicki earn a spot on the Forbes Cash Kings 2013 list. She made an estimated $29 million from June 2012 to June 2013. Nicki was the only female artist to appear on the list.
