The Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame has inducted numerous rappers and Hip Hop groups over the years, Public Enemy and Run-DMC to name a few. But one group, possibly the most influential hip hop ensemble of all time, has yet to be honored by the “Hall.” N.W.A. is seeking induction for the second year in a row.

In addition to the Compton emcees, Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Chic, Deep Purple, Hall and Oates, KISS, the Meters, Peter Gabriel, Nirvana, Cat Stevens, Yes, The Replacements, Link Wray and the Zombies have also been nominated. The only other rap artist featured on this year’s ballot is LL Cool J.

The final decision will be made based on the votes of “Rock Hall” members and, as recent as last year, the fans. You can cast your vote from now until December 10th at 5pm HERE.

Inductees will be announced in December with the ceremony following in April. The ceremony will take place in New York City, and will eventually air down the line on HBO.
