Twitter Wants Janelle Monáe To Apologize For Suggesting Voter Registration At Popeyes

Donkey of the Day for Wednesday, August 28th goes to the people of Twitter for convincing Janelle Monáe to apologize for suggesting that Popeyes should have voter registration booths at their restaurants.

Janelle Monáe recently weighed in on the conversation by attempting to make sense out of the chicken sandwich craze. Monae took to Twitter and suggested that people be allowed to register to vote while they wait in line for chicken. Some people took offense to Janelle for assuming the people in the Popeyes line, weren't registered to vote.

Even though I think there is too much hype on the Popeyes sandwich. I personally don't see what one has to do with the other.
