Gucci Mane's music may be polarizing from a critical perspective, but he's still a legend regardless. That's because there's no artists who have released more projects behind bars. Out of nowhere, Gucci decided to drop three albums -- ingeniously titled BreakfastLunch and Dinner -- on Tuesday (March 17).

Each album comes with 11 tracks and a decent spate of guests, including rising trap star Andy Milonakis, Chief Keef, Fredo Santana, Trinidad James and Waka Flocka. Of course, Gucci Mane is at the center of it all as he lays out his thesis: I may be behind bars, but I am Gucci Mane, therefore I shall stunt.

The rapper has been in and out of prison for most of his recording career, so because he can't stay out of trouble, his release habits had to adapt. According to XXL, Gucci has released 31 projects and 500 songs throughout his career. To put that in perspective, it took over 30 years for Prince to put out 32 albums -- and Prince is a known workhorse. Still, Charles Hamilton has released over 130 mixtapes. Putting out an absurd amount of projects might be a hip-hop thing.

The streak has to come to an end at some point, however. Gucci Mane will be 36 by the time he gets out in December 2016, and he'll presumably be trying to stay out of trouble since that's an archaic age in hip-hop years. Plus, there's a chance he'll come home sooner; PeeWee Longway claimed in an interview with Hot 107.9 that Guwop might be out of prison in a couple of months.

“We gonna break your stage in a couple months,” he said. "I broke the news, man. Guwop, a couple months.”

We shall see. For now, there's no sign that Gucci Mane is slowing down his prison output. Check out the meal albums below.
