With R.Kelly just being arrested again for dealing with underage girls in the 00's. It made me wonder why older men are attracted to teenage girls. A lot of people including myself have wondered why can't he just find someone his own age?

In short, heterosexual men will find 20-year-old women most attractive regardless of how old they are. Women, on the other hand, tend to find men of a similar age to them most attractive so as they get older, women will generally start to be into older men.

This sounds like horrible news for older women but it might not be. Older men might find younger women attractive but that doesn't mean the feeling is mutual. Most men find younger women out of their league anyway.

The findings show that despite older men finding much younger women extremely attractive, they were highly unlikely to actually message any of them on an online dating site. Men will most often message women actually closer to their own age.

This survey makes a lot of sense to me, Men are attracted to young women who are usually are attracted to the older man's money. Average Joes that are older and can't afford to date younger women, often don't even bother to message them. Lust shouldn't control dating patterns, there is more to a relationship than just sex.

I think this all comes down to people with money or people who desire money being able to dominate someone sexually and financially and that person is usually a woman that is younger than them.
