Self Made Inspired By Madam C.J. Walker Coming To Netflix

I might have to reactivate my Netflix account.  They are coming hard with good shows in 2020. 

I always enjoyed the story and come up of Madam C.J. Walker.  If you don’t know her story, I definitely recommend you reading about it.  She was America’s first African American female who became a self-made millionaire as a haircare entrepreneur.  It will be a Netflix original series and will go through her life story.  They casted Octavia Spencer as the lead and she’ll be joined by Blair Underwood and Tiffany Haddish. 

With Black History month steady approaching, this couldn’t have been released a better time!

Although the show doesn’t come out until March 20^th, Netflix gave us a sneak peek with some photos on Twitter.
