Niskayuna Man Indicted After 11 Year Old Gives Birth

Robert John Cronin, 33, is accused of sexually assaulting and impregnating a young child. The 11-year-old victim gave birth in November of 2018 and police said a DNA test proved Cronin was the father.

According to the Schenectady Gazette, Cronin was arrested in January he appeared in Schenectady County Court and was indicted on one count each of predatory sexual assault against a child, a high-level felony, first-degree perjury a felony and a misdemeanor child endangerment. If he is convicted of the predatory sexual assault count he would face up to 25 years in prison.

I wonder who his lawyer is on this case? Cronin would be better off to plead guilty and accept the punishment. Cronin said that the 11-year-old girl managed to impregnate herself using a piece of clothing he had masturbated into and that the police are simply lacking in scientific knowledge, WTEN reported.

Who does he think he is fooling? He actually did a TV interview making these ridiculous claims. The truth is they have a DNA test which proves him to be the father, his masturbation defense is not scientifically possible.
