Walmart stores in the Capital Region have now started offering a new grocery pickup service for local shoppers. Walmart has a new free grocery pick-up service that allows customers to choose from over 30,000 items including fresh produce, meats, and organic groceries.

The way it works is quite simple and easy. Customers can order food online or using the Walmart Grocery mobile app. During checkout, customers will have the opportunity to pick the date and time they wish to pick-up. On the day of pickup, personal shoppers will gather the items each customer requested. Once the customer arrives, an associate at the store will retrieve all of the items purchased and load into the customer’s car if need be. They will also be implementing reserved parking spaces that will be marked in orange and a designated number to alert the associate of the customer coming to pick up their order.

These following stores currently have the online grocery service:

279 Troy Rd. Rensselaer, NY 12144

1549 Route 9 Clifton Park, NY 12065

200 Dutch Meadows Ln. Glenville, NY 12302
