Members of Governor Cuomo’s Administration will be visiting the campuses from now until May 22nd to provide information about the Excelsior Scholarship.

Just a few weeks ago, Governor Cuomo signed New York’s first ever free college tuition plan (click here to read the article). Being that this is the first time New York have ever had a plan like this, people are eager to take advantage of the tuition plan and would like to know more information regarding it. That is why people who would like to learn more about New York’s new free college tuition program are getting the opportunity to ask questions at nearly 24 campuses statewide over the next few weeks.

Members of Governor Cuomo’s Administration will be visiting the campuses from now until May 22nd to provide college students with information on how the Excelsior Scholarship can help them and their families. The free college tuition program is available for any family that makes an annual income less than $125,000. According to Cuomo this means about 80 percent of the state is eligible.
