According to Times Union, The Albany International Airport area recorded just over 42 inches of snow from Dec. 1 to March 1. This is about 5 inches below the normal snowfall that the Capital Region experiences during that time span.

The biggest snowfall that happened this winter was in early December, with more than 22.6 inches of snow. Temperatures were also a lot milder this year then previous years. Also we haven't had any below zero days, this winter we normally have seven days below zero.

Hopefully the trend will continue for the next few weeks. Spring starts on March 19, so let's keep our fingers crossed for good weather for the next couple of weeks.
