The list of rappers who have told Donald Trump and his inauguration team "no thank you" grows larger by the day, as more and more reveal that they were invited to perform for the president-elect's incoming concert but declined the offer. Late Thursday night (Jan. 19), Cinematic Music Group founder Jonny Shipes tweeted that Joey Bada$$, who is signed to the label, was among those who opted to pass.

"Fun fact @realDonaldTrump asked Joey to perform at his inauguration #Curve go that way," Shipes tweeted.

If there was any uncertainty as to how Joey felt about the incoming president, the rapper released "Land of the Free" late last night, rapping, "Sorry ‘Merica but I will not be your soldier/Obama just wasn’t enough, I need some more closure/And Donald Trump is not equipped to take this country over."

The list of performers who agreed to play in the new president included Toby Keith, 3 Doors Down and Chrisette Michele, who was asked by Questlove to reconsider, The Roots drummer saying he’d pay her not to play. YG said this week he’d perform his anti-Trump anthem “FDT” for $4 million, while 2 Chainz said he declined an offer to join the bill. Azealia Banks, on the other hand, expressed a strong desire to perform, writing on Facebook, “This is an EPIC moment in modern history and it should def be celebrated in style.”
