El Chapo Being Flown To New York

Is El Chapo on his way to Albany? Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman the infamous Mexican Drug lord who escaped from prison twice, has been extradited to the United States. According to a statement by the Mexican Foreign Ministry.

Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman is being extradited to the United States, the I-Team confirmed Thursday.

A spokeswoman for the Mexican Attorney General said Thursday afternoon that he was "in the air," but has not confirmed where he is going due to security concerns.

Guzman is wanted on drug trafficking and other charges in Chicago, Brooklyn and several other jurisdictions.

El Chapo is making his first stop in New York, I doubt he will be held in any facility in New York City. That leaves the wonderful correctional facilities in Upstate New York left to hold El Chapo.

I'm not versed in Federal prison facilities but i'm sure i90 or i87 lead directly to them and that way you have to come to or through Albany. I'm sure there is some kind of ransom to break this man out of prison again so authorities have to be extra careful this time around.
