Gucci Mane is involved in some serious legal drama right now with federal gun charges on his head among other things. There's a possibility he may not even be a free man by the end of the year, but the uncertainty doesn't stop him from releasing new music. His latest offering is the celebratory 'Trap Numbers.'

The single cover comes with the words "#FreeGuwop," but Mane doesn't sound too worried about his legal issues on the traptastic track. 'Trap Numbers' recalls the simpler times in 2009-10 when Gucci was at the top of his game in terms of popularity and wealth.

He giddily boasts, "I got a loaded German rifle on my seat / I spend a half million dollars in a week," and exclaims on the hook that his "Trap doin' numbers." His callback to his peak years isn't just thematic either. There's a smidgeon of the pop sensibility he had that made songs like 'Lemonade' such a hit.

'Trap Numbers' doesn't sound like something that will inspire more fellow prisoners to free him, however. Last week, a prisoner at the Williamsburg federal prison in Salters, S.C., put together legal papers to help him beat gun charges.
