People never cease to amaze me, here we go again, someone else selling drugs from their apartment. I don’t know if people think they won’t get caught because of the pandemic, but they are sadly mistaken. A New York woman thought she was going to get away with selling drugs from her apartment, but the Warren County Sheriff’s Department was not having it.

According to News 10, Regency Park Apartments resident Sharon Murphy, 28, was arrested over the weekend for allegedly selling drugs out of her apartment.

Officers from the Warren County Sheriff's Office were responding to a call from Regency Park Apartments’ maintenance department around 8:30 AM. There reportedly was a broken window, an open door to an apartment. When the police got there they allegedly found evidence of drug sales and usage. The officers found thousands of used hypodermic needles and other drug paraphernalia. The apartment was so nasty, Queensboro Code Enforcement deemed the residents unfit for occupancy and they condemned it. SMH

Murphy was charged with Criminal Nuisance in the first degree which is a class E felony. She was also charged with multiple counts of B felony drug sales. Murphy was released on her own recognizance, but police say she was found several hours later trying to gain entry into the apartment where she was originally arrested. She was released on her own recognizance again and scheduled to appear in Queensbury town court at a later date.

It must be nice, Murphy must be a very lucky person to be released on her own recognizance twice after being charged with multiple felonies. Hopefully police are keeping an eye on her to make sure that she won’t go back to her old ways.
