Did a MSNBC Reporter Use The N Word?

I have watched it at least 10 times.

This outrage is hilarious to me really because you know when someone is intentionally saying the N word on national television. Alison Morris was caught out there when a clip of "acciddently" saying NAKERS, which sounds very close to the N Word.

If you watch the clip, you can hear MSNBC anchor Alison Morris stumble over the word “Laker” while reporting on Kobe Bryant’s death. She said Nakers, not the other N word that folks are saying she said. Now they want her fired and want an apology.

She folded and did issue an apology via twitter saying:

There are so many cases of people "accidentally" using the N word it's hard to distinguish between a simple mistake, to someone demonstrating low key racism. I honestly don't know if this situation but, NAKERS isn't even a word and it sounds like she is trying to make excuses. No one in society admits to being a racist or having white supremacist views.

All we have left to do now is speculate and examine this woman's behavior. I don't know enough about her to speculate but she is definitely suspected. Whether she should get fired or not, I don't care. It's the same thing as the circle game and the white supremacist hand signal, these people will always find cowardly ways to display or hide their views in plain sight.

This wasn't the time to play around with the N word and people are rightfully outraged. Firing her will only make the next suspected white supremacist work even harder to hide their racism.
