D'Angelo may have been MIA for 15 years, but he is making a comeback with the new LP "Black Messiah" and now performing on "SNL!"

D'Angelo will grace us with his presence and talent on Jan. 31 when he serves as musical guest on "Saturday Night Live." He will be accompanied by his band, The Vanguard.

He will be giving us a taste of his classic joints like "How Does it Feel" and "Brown Suga" as well as some new R&B heat. The show will be hosted by J.K. Simmons.

Now, D'Angelo is definitely back making up for lost time because he follows up his "SNL" performance with a show at the legendary Apollo Theater on Feb. 7 and then hits the road to launch the European leg of his "Second Coming Tour."

The R&B singer just recently dropped his third album, "Black Messiah."
