Chris Brown is embroiled in a lawsuit with Frank Ocean's cousin, which stems from the reported fight that happened outside of a Los Angeles recording studio back in January.

According to TMZ, Sha'Keir Duarte filed a lawsuit Tuesday (Aug. 13) in L.A. Superior Court against the 'Fine China' singer's bodyguard, who is identified as "Hood."

Duarte alleges that Brown's bodyguard viciously assaulted him and yelled, "Get that n-----!" and teased him afterward, saying, "You just got your ass beat and it's all on camera." Ocean's cousin claims that he is now permanently disabled following the brawl and is seeking unspecified damages.

A rep for Brown told TMZ that "Chris Brown does not employee anyone named Hood."

Ocean, who was also attacked during the fight, decided not to pursue charges for the assault even though he suffered a hand injury.

As for Chris Brown, this is more drama he doesn't need right now.

On Thursday (Aug. 15), the singer will go on trial regarding his hit-and-run charges. Then, on the following day, Brown faces a hearing for violating his probation in the hit-and-run case. If convicted, he's looking at four years in prison.

The next few days are going to be crucial for Chris Brown. Good luck!
