Chris Brown, who will probably always be known as "that guy who beat the hell out of Rihanna," has once again been accused of assault -- this time against a 24-year-old female nightclub-goer.

The lady in question, Deanna Gines, told TMZ she was in the VIP section of the Heat Ultra Lounge where Chris performed that evening when he "deliberately" pushed her to the ground.

She says as a result of the shove, she landed hard on her knees, tearing several ligaments. Gines alleges that the attack that occurred inside the Anaheim, Calif. club on Saturday night (June 22) was so violent that she may need surgery.

She says she filed a report with the Anaheim P.D., and TMZ has confirmed that a report for assault was filed that night -- but not by or against whom.

For his part, Brown denied the allegations in a (posted and quickly deleted) tweet:

And Nicole Perna, his rep, told TMZ, "I'm unaware of the incident, as is Chris' lawyer and his entire team. He was in a great mood after Powerhouse. None of this makes sense."
