In the midst of a pandemic and the start of the 2021 year, artists, producers and videographers have been finding more ways than one to keep the heat coming.
With no shows and concerts to perform at along with little to do, artists have been using the down time to hit the studios and work on their music and get creative with their content all while keeping the heat coming.
Here are a few artists that have recently dropped visuals and projects during the 2020-2021 pandemic lockdown:
Suave The Don, a Troy, NY artist and recent Hot991 "Song of the Year" 2019 winner has recently dropped a new song and a visual called "Stories of The Hood” a gritty, melodic, and raw soundtrack about coming up out the hood and going through things with people close to you. His visual to " Stories from the Hood" is out on YouTube now.
Teekay Vee, a Schenectady NY artist dropped his album 21 in the late summer of 2021. With “Hurt” and “Run” being two of the artist's most prompt songs to this day along with a growing number in streams. He has a wide range of songs and vibes on his ep check him out.
Fame Kobaine, an emerging Queens NY and artist who is making a name for himself during this pandemic. Dropping two visuals during the summer with no major promotion both "Heavy On It" reached 1.1m views and "Pandemic " reached 700,000 k . Fame Kobaine has both a drill sound mixed with a melodic weekend kind of sound. He is said to be releasing his EP this spring 2021, with features from various artists along with more visuals. Stay tuned he is just getting started.
US Bay, Albany NY artists who is no stranger to the Hot991 airwaves, first being introduced with his first radio banger “Things you Do” and most recently dropping his summer 2021 banger “BUCK EM DOWN” has now reached 22,000 organic views in just a little over 7 months. US Bay is back at it with a new project titled “ I Hate US Bay Too” is out now on all platforms.
Glit Jeezus is holding it down for Schenectady. Big Glit is back again with Believe Me featuring Quadoe. The visual dropped last month and is doing big numbers. Also, Glit Jeezus will host his very own live concert on his website featuring Fivio Foreign and Young Bleu.
