Albany NY’s Annual Tulip Fest

They say April showers bring May flowers. That is all true May 11th and May 12th at Washington Park in Albany. Come out and enjoy the 71st annual Tulip fest mothers day weekend in the historic Washington Park. There will the crowning of the Tulip Queen and parade earlier in the day followed by food and music and lots of great vendors throughout the evening.

It's a perfect time to get outdoors and enjoy some good scenery as the tulips will be the highlight of the day. Since it's Mother's Day weekend, this is also a nice event to take your special lady too. It is free and open to the public. For more information visit the link
