This week we are back at again with one of my favorite people from the Capital Region, Albany Lou. Albany Lou dropped a new mixtape Y.N.U.S. (Y Not Us) back in March hosted by veteran DJ Superstar Jay. The 12 Song Mixtape features appearances from Uncle Murda, Peshy Kruger, Gus Films, Jody C and more,

Albany Lou stopped by the Hot 991 studios to talk about the origins of the (Y.N.U.S.) mixtape and expanding his brand to take over on an international level. Lou discusses the challenges of making music during the pandemic and his upcoming touring options.

Albany Lou continues to inspire the next generation of Hip Hop in the Capital Region, Lou explains how he embedded hip hop music and culture into his oldest son “Nate The Space God” who is an aspiring artist and engineer in a Capital Region recording studio, who he is very proud of.

During the interview, we also got to talk about Albany Lou’s views on local politics discussing everything from the recent violence to the local Mayoral election and who Albany Lou thinks should be the mayor of the Capital of New York.

Albany Lou is always working on new projects and expanding his brand. It's good to catch up with Albany Lou because he is always on the move and on the rise check out the interview right now and check out Big Bag spinning on Hot 991 and streaming outlets worldwide.
