21 Savage is giving thanks during the holiday season.

According to a report The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's published on Tuesday (Nov. 26), the Atlanta rapper, on behalf of his Leading By Example Foundation, is hosting Thanksgiving dinner for 300 families at the Wade Walker Park Family YMCA in Stone Mountain, Ga. today. While the dinner was for 300 families, there are an additional 100 spots up for others on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Throughout 2019, the 27-year-old rapper has been giving back to the Atlanta community, which he calls home. Back in June, 21 donated $25,000 to the Southern Poverty Law Center, which is an Alabama-based nonprofit civil rights organization, so that immigrants in the deep South can get proper legal representation while detained by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

21, born Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, is still fighting his immigration case against ICE. Right now, he doesn't have a court date yet. Apparently, the immigration courts in Atlanta are so backlogged with cases, defendants have been receiving court dates set in 2022, so it could be a while before 21 appears in front of a judge.

Nevertheless, the "Immortal" rapper, who dropped his I Am > I Was album two months before ICE arrested him for being an undocumented immigrant last February, has a lot to be thankful for this year. Last Wednesday (Nov. 20), 21 received two nominations for the 2020 Grammy Awards. He was nominated for Best Rap Song for "A Lot," and his 2018 album, I Am > I Was got a nod for Best Rap Album.
