"Good things come to people who wait, but better things come to those who go out and get them."

One thing I was told a long time ago was in order to be great you have to be able to challenge yourself and listen more then you speak. Experience and knowledge go hand and hand and can go a long way in the music industry.

I got a chance to attend the first annul RapCon presented by Symphonic yesterday at the National Sawdust. The creatives in the room was hand picked to be there so it wasn't over crowed and it was more of a vibe, in where you could learn and be interactive with a dope panel and network amongst the people in the room.  The panel consisted of a Q and A about " Major vs Indie" " Music Business" and key points on marketing and utilizing social media, music platforms and attending seminars such as this one.  Killer Mike wrapped up the event where he gave us his blueprint as to how he got to where he is now, why he does what he do , and the creation of the epic Run The Jewels.

Such an amazing event and dope vibes yesterday. I have to say that if you are and artist and or what to make it big in the industry you have to network and put yourself in position to win. Opportunities can and will present themselves. Check out the few pics I took ( I would of took more but I was so in tune with the discussion , I didn't want to take away from that.
