Looking to help a great cause and enjoy the beautiful day today? Check out the 2nd Annual Troy High School Coaches VS. Cancer games! “Let’s strike out cancer!”

Troy High is the only team in the district that holds a coaches vs. cancer event. Funds raised will benefit the American Cancer Society. They’ve been promoting in schools through pin-ups, loose change donation buckets, wrist bands and t-shirt sales. You’ll be able to purchase a shirt at the event.

The events kick off at 3pm today with the Troy High School Jazz Ensemble at the THS field entrance.

4:00pm: The opening ceremony on the varsity baseball field with the LaSalle Color Guard. A THS chorus member will sing the national anthem and the family of Linda Noonan will throw out the first pitch.

4:30pm: Games begin! Troy’s JV team will take on LaSalle, the two varsity squads follow and the night ends with the Troy varsity softball team squaring off against Ballston Spa.

Donations will be collected on-site today.
