Black UAlbany students were reportedly harassed and assaulted on CTDA bus.

This one literally hits home for me. I spent some of the best years of my life at my alma mater, SUNY - University At Albany. UA, U Alb, UAlbany, SUNY, Albany... The school of many nicknames. Unfortunately, on early Saturday morning, January 30, 2016, the realization that racism and hatred still exists within the student community on the campus reared its ugly head.

Three Black female students stated they were harassed, assaulted and called racial slurs while riding the No. 11 bus line of the CDTA.

The school's president, Robert Jones, has released a statement on the matter, stating that he will hold the people accountable.

I hope that they do find out who these people are and truly hold them as accountable as possible. I'm more disgusted with the fact that not one person came to help these women in their time of need.
