Is Troy Ave a snitch for comments about taking the stand in his latest song?

Troy Ave is once again a topic of discussion after  lyrics in his new song insinuate that he will be speaking up in the court of law.  In his new single, "2 Legit 2 Quit", Troy Ave states, "Middle finger from the stands, its either me or it's you". Troy Ave is speaking about an incident that took place at New York City's, Irving Plaza in May 2016. Troy Ave's body guard, "Banga", was killed during the incident and Troy Ave was seen on camera firing a weapon multiple times.

News later came out that famous podcaster Taxstone was the alleged shooter who killed Banga and the video of Troy Ave shooting was captured after he grabbed the gun from Taxstone and fired back in self defense. Taxstone in currently in jail awaiting trial. Many believes that Troy's lyrics are hinting that he will testify against Taxstone in court.

Now I don't know about this one. People are calling Troy Ave a snitch but is that really the case if Taxstone really did shoot his friend? Some people say because Troy Ave claims to be a gangsta, it's against street code for him to snitch. But what do I know, I'm just a radio guy. What do you think?
