This past Friday, there was a lot of heat that was dropped from Kevin Gates to Dababy to Sheff G to Layton Greene and more. Perfect weekend to thoroughly check some new projects out and see what the hype was all about.

Brooklyn's rising star Sheff G dropped his debut album "The Unluccy Luccy Kid," a 14-track album with features from Mozzy and label mate Sleepy Hollow. Sheff G known for his hit " No Suburban's and making drill music the sound of Brooklyn set the tone straight on this project. His deep voice and infamous drill sound could be heard over the album as he raps about loyalty, friends and foes and his life in BK, on tracks like  "Breech", "Feel a Way" "All My Life" and "Think Im Playing." My favorite tracks off the album is "We Getting Money" its up tempo and certainly a underrated bop along with "Menace" featuring Sleepy Hollow with Mozzy.  Sheff G is Brooklyn's next big star and is only at the beginning of his career.

Download and stream "The Unluccy Luccy Kid" now on all platforms.

Layton Greene dropped her  debut EP  titled " Tell yah Story.  On the EP Layton opens up about her life growing up and the hardships she faced, her love life and the pain she held on to in Tell Yah Story. Layton pours her heart and soul out in each track she featured on in the EP. Her pureness and raw emotions is felt from the very first song  "Blame Me" and on . Available now on all platforms.

DaBaby is back with another one titled Kirk 6months after dropping "Baby on Baby". He kicks it off by paying homage to his dad and then from there on he gives us nothing short of energy and fast paced rapping making sure to full up every space of the song.
