Starting tonight, according to CBS 6, you can enjoy a free movie each Wednesday night for the next three weeks.  The Capital Park After Dark movie series will present movies that are suitable for everyone in the family to enjoy.

The movies will be shown in the West Capitol Park in Albany on Wednesday nights at 8:30 PM.  Tonight's movie will be “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”.

If you don’t make it to movie night at West Capital Park, maybe you can enjoy a free movie that will be presented at the Palace Theater.

The Palace Theater has announced their free movie series called, “Summer in the City”.  This movie series is targeted towards low-income families in the city.  The Palace hopes to bring some free enjoyment to local families and children.

The movies will play each Tuesday afternoon in July and August.  The Doors open at noon and the movies begin promptly at 1:00 p.m.

On Tuesday, July 20 the featured movie will be “Sonic. The Hedgehog“; on Tuesday, July 27, the featured movie will be “The Secret Life of Pets 2”; on Tuesday, August 3, the featured movie will be “Spiderman: Into The Spider-Verse”; on Tuesday, August 10, the featured movie will be” Pokémon: Detective Pikachu”; on Tuesday, August 17, the featured movie will be “Frozen II”; and on Tuesday, August 24, the featured movie will be “Sing”.
