Student Run Pharmacy Opens In Albany
Some Justice for the disenfranchised of Albany: So there’s a Student-Run Pharmacy that opened up on Wednesday in Albany’s South End which is just awesome because that Community is vastly underserved.
Now instead of people that live in this community taking the bus to the CVS which isn’t close by they can just walk in and get whatever they need and that’s just a great resource to have especially in this part of Albany where they are so underserved.
The people that these college students will be helping with might not have the best English and might not know as much about their medications and that’s what the college students are there for.
This Pharmacy is in an educational center outside of Lincoln Park. The closest pharmacies aren’t exactly close by. Now people can just walk in and get their prescriptions like anyone else can except it’s in the South End and they deserve to have this because they get so underserved.
This pharmacy will be open from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Thank you Albany for thinking of the very very underserved they deserve this because no one pays attention to them as much as we should.
