This morning AG James said that her investigation concluded that Governor Cuomo sexually harassed his accusers. During her news conference, she said that the women were credible and that she believed them.

AG James says that her investigation found that Governor Cuomo was guilty of unsolicited touching including kissing, hugging, and groping. The investigation included at least 11 women who were considered credible.

Several high-powered Democrats are calling for Governor Cuomo to resign. The list includes Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan, Senator Chuck Schumer, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and President Joe Biden. President Biden says that the state legislature may decide to impeach Governor Cuomo, but that he should resign first.

Governor Cuomo is still denying all allegations and he says that he will not resign. In response to specific allegations made by his former aide, Charlotte Bennett, he said that he considered her as a part of a family and that he only wanted to help her. He stated that he never sexually assaulted her or anyone else. He said, “I never touched anyone inappropriately or made inappropriate sexual advances.”

Although Governor Cuomo is denying all of these allegations he could find himself in hot water. This was a civil investigation, but if he is guilty of unwanted touching, he may find himself involved in a criminal investigation.

I want to know what you think. Do you think that Governor Cuomo is guilty of sexual harassment and do you think that he should resign?
