As fans eagerly await Rihanna’s eighth studio album, ‘R8,’ some new music has emerged from the Bajan beauty.

Back in 2008, Rih covered Madonna’s 1990 hit ‘Vogue’ at a Fashion Rocks event and now, seven years later, the studio version has found its way to the internet.

The songstress, whose style of reinventing herself has often been compared to Madonna, does the track justice by not missing a beat. Fans of Madge may not be feeling Rihanna's version considering her status as a pop legend.

“Look around everywhere you turn is heartache / It's everywhere that you go (look around) / You try everything you can to escape / The pain of life that you know (life that you know),” she sings on the opening verse.

Madonna and Rihanna are both dropping new albums this year. Could a collaboration be in the works? We hope that's not just wishful thinking on our part. The pair would surely create a solid dance number considering their track record for rising to the top of the charts.
