Pollys Fools Dance At River Street Pub

Make the 518 fun again this event should definitely be the turn up this weekend. Polly is a 21 and up, quarterly dance party in Troy dedicated to providing a fun and safe space LBGTQ people. Each Polly event has a theme and the jokes (and jams) are on them for their Polly Fool's Dance.

The admission fees collected from each Polly acts as a fundraiser for various groups or organizations in the Capital Region. This month's Polly will benefit Soul Fire Farm.

Soul Fire Farm is committed to ending racism and injustice in the food system. They bring diverse communities together on their Grafton, NY farm and schools, lectures, and programs throughout the US and the world to share skills on sustainable agriculture, natural building, spiritual activism, health and environmental justice. Funds raised at this event will go to a scholarship fund for Solidarity Shares, providing 20 weeks of doorstep delivery of fresh vegetables and eggs to refugees, immigrants, and people impacted by state violence.
