Nike has spawned yet another soon-to-be cult classic with retired basketball player Anfernee Hardaway's nickname "Penny." This time, the sneaker giant has taken his moniker even more serious with a colorway that actually mimics the bronze coin.

The most noticeable element of the upcoming Nike Air Penny 6 are the large swaths of metallic copper foamposite along the side of each silhouette and these are countered by a completely black suede build. A Flywire lacing system stabilizes the foot while Zoom Air handles the cushioning, which makes this model as high tech as it's predecessors with a stylish edge.

The Nike Air Penny 6 Copper will hit shelves on July 10 and should run you $185 before taxes. So make sure you save up those pennies in advance of the shoes' release.
