Man Shot in Albany Marks First Shooting Homicide Of The Year
Albany marks its second homicide of the year the first due to a shooting incident which is way down from last year's record-setting 15 homicides.
6 News in Albany, the shooting happened at 2nd Street between Judson Street and North Lake Avenue around 10:10 p.m. Officers found a man with gunshot wounds to the torso. Police have identified the victim as 20-year-old Kenneth Love of Albany.
There have been 35 reported shootings in Albany this year with only one person being killed. Is this an improvement from the 15 homicides of last year? We have to judge each of these killings separately and not jump to the conclusion that people are just out to shoot and kill other people.
