Westchester Knicks makes history by hiring Lisa Camille Willis, as the first women to become an assistant coach in 73-years. According to lohud, 11 women are positioned as assistant or player development coaches, two in the NBA G League including Willis. Reported from Dallas weekly, Willis who is now retried, is no doubt more then qualified for the job. Becoming an all time 3-point shooter and leader of steals while attending UCLA, where she also earned a scholarship for basketball. She's also is a gold medalist for the USA  women's basketball team in 2005. Oh you not convinced yet ? - In 2006, she was the 5th overall pick in the WNBA, and became a 3-point leader for the New York Liberty's, Los Angeles's Sparks and the Sacramento Monarchs. She like the female Steph Curry ! Unfortunately in 2010 she injured herself tearing 3 of the 4 ligaments in her knee. But her love and passion for the game did not stop there - being now she would now take on the G League as Westchester's Knicks new assistant coach, first female making history once again, i may add. LETS GO KNICKS !!!
