Kendrick Lamar's Damn. is not only widely critically-acclaimed a visceral piece of music, it's on target to be the highest selling album of 2017. Yes, Damn. could even outsell Drake's juggernautMore Life, if sales predictions are accurate.

Billboard projects that Damn., which dropped April 14, will land at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling between 530,000 to 550,000 equivalent album units. As aforementioned, as of now, the album with the highest first week sales is Drake’s More Life, which moved 505,000 units in the week ending March 23 following its release.

While the official numbers won't be in until April 23, either way Damn. is Kendrick's highest selling album thus far. His 2016 surprise collection of unreleased music, Untitled.Unmastered, sold 178,000 units in its first week, and 2015's career-defining To Pimp a Butterfly sold 363,000 units its first week out, while his critically-acclaimed major label debut, good kid, m.A.A.d city, sold 241,000 units in its initial week.

K.Dot's independent debut album Section.80 meanwhile, was certified gold two days ago, making this a winning week all around for Kung Fu Kenny.
