Jay Z Signs Baseball Player CC Sabathia to Roc Nation Sports

Jay Z has added a new player to his roster at Roc Nation Sports. New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia has joined the agency.

The baseball player revealed the news with a photo he posted on Instagram of himself signing a contract with Hov beside him.

"CC exemplifies everything Roc Nation looks for in an athlete and a partner," said Roc Nation Sports president Juan Perez in a statement (via ESPN).

Although the 33-year-old has three years left on his contract with the Yankees, if any contract talks come up before then, Hov and Perez will go to bat for him at the negotiating table.

Sabathia joins fellow Roc Nation Sports athletes Victor Cruz (New York Giants wide receiver), Geno Smith (New York Jets quarterback) and Robinson Cano (Seattle Mariners second baseman). Jay Z’s other clients include WNBA player Skylar Diggins and Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant.
