Another unexplained aerial sighting from New York is getting attention after a former U.S. Army Signal Officer reported spotting what he describes as a strange disk-shaped object in photos he took during a powerful thunderstorm.

The witness said a massive thunderstorm was moving across the area, prompting him to snap a few photos of the dramatic clouds. At the time, he didn't notice anything unusual.
It wasn't until later that evening, while reviewing the images, that he says he discovered what appeared to be a black, dome-shaped disk hovering near the storm clouds. He also reported noticing what he described as two "cube within a cube" objects in other photos.

The witness says he ruled out birds, aircraft, dirt on the windshield, and camera glare, even attempting to recreate the images without success.
