SMH What? These Are The Top 3 Halloween Candies in New York State?!

Halloween is fun for dressing up and trick or treating but the real draw is the candy. I always hoped the houses I visited gave out full candy bars and good candy.

Undoubtedly, we have all thought that at one time or another. But what is the good candy? Well, it depends on who you ask. There is a survey that lists the most popular candy nationwide. Here is a list according to candystore.com.

Most of us agree that the top two on this list are valid, however, I would have never expected hot tamales and candy corn to be in the top ten. If you think this list isn't quite accurate to what you believe to be the best candy, wait until you hear what the top three candies in New York State are!

Here is the, in my opinion, very flawed list of the top three most popular candies in New York State. Do you agree with them?

 #3 - Candy Corn: This candy is always hotly debated. Either you love it or you hate it and apparently, a lot of New Yorkers love it!

#2 - Hot Tamales: This one left me scratching my head. I only remember eating these as a kid. I didn't think they were still popular.

#1 - Sour Patch Kids: To me, these are an acquired taste. But apparently, 172,000 New Yorkers said that this is their favorite Halloween candy.
