One Knicks Ticket Could Buy You A New Car… Or 247 Siro’s Burgers
NBA Finals Ticket Prices
We spend a lot of time talking about expensive concert tickets. Morgan Wallen. Jelly Roll. Luke Combs. Zach Bryan. But compared to the New York Knicks, those ticket prices suddenly look like a bargain.
Jalen Brunson looked at concert ticket prices and basically said, "Hold my $25 Madison Square Garden beer."
As the Knicks chase their first NBA championship in more than 50 years, ticket prices for Game 4 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden have reached a level that can only be described as absolutely insane.
Someone is Always Willing to Pay
I was looking at listings on SeatGeek and nearly spit out my coffee, but the reality is, someone is willing to pay it.
The cheapest seats I found were between $7,000 and $9,000. Lower-level seats were commonly listed between $15,000 and $25,000. One listing was asking nearly $50,000.
The Grand Champion
A ticket is listed for more than $80,000. For one seat. Not a luxury suite. Not season tickets. You don't get to share popcorn with Timothee Chalamet, one seat.
And for those wondering, yes... $80,000 is enough money to buy approximately 247 of those $325 burgers at Siro's.
I get it. Knicks fans are hungry. New York prices are always outrageous.
Heck, I took Brody to a Knicks game back in January as a Christmas gift. What I didn't tell him was that one game was also his Christmas present for the next four years.
What's really wild is that Game 4 isn't until next Wednesday. If the Knicks have a chance to clinch their first championship since 1973 at Madison Square Garden, there's a good chance these prices haven't even peaked yet.

Meanwhile, tickets for Game 5 in San Antonio are expensive too—but from what I can see, they're generally much cheaper than in New York.
In fact, it might be more affordable for a Knicks fan to fly to Texas, stay in a hotel, eat steak for a few days, attend the game, and fly home than it would be to sit inside Madison Square Garden.
I have a friend who owns a Game 4 ticket. He paid a lot for it. Since then, the value has more than doubled, and by tipoff, it could be worth around $14,000.
He says he's going, and I think he needs to reconsider!
