The New York Colleges Rank Among the Best for College Experience
Here are some of the best college experiences in New York State.
As students start to think about their first college semester, what crosses their minds? Many are making sure their paperwork has been submitted. Some are gathering social security card, and health insurance card, and most are grabbing everything they will need for the dorm. All of them are wondering, what is the college experience going to be like.
What makes for a great college experience? Perhaps it is a mix of finding a place where you feel comfortable living on your own for the first time. A school with great traditions, surrounded by students that you could form lifelong friendships with, and of course a strong education.
New York's Capital Region has great colleges such as Skidmore College, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, University of Albany, Union College, Siena University, and Russell Sage College. Did any make the top 10?
