Father Fakes Home Invasion After Stealing Daughter’s Girl Scout Cookie Money

Today's Donkey Of The Day is Brian Couture, he is definitely a Donkey. Authorities say Brian called 911 to report that an unknown subject had entered his home through the sliding glass door of his home and a struggle occurred.

He said that the suspects fled the home before officers arrived. An extensive search using a K9 was conducted and the alleged suspect was not found. Couture admitted later to investigators that the incident was staged to conceal his theft of money belonging to the Girl Scouts. He also said that he had already spent the stolen funds.

Brian is being charged for initiating a false report, and theft in the 2nd degree, both misdemeanors. Couture was booked at the Washington County Jail.
